We process your data under the following legal bases where applicable: performance of our contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in fraud prevention and platform security, and your consent for optional data and marketing. 3. Information Sharing & Third Parties

We are transparent about data sharing:

Campaign Partners: We share aggregated, anonymized engagement data and attention scores with companies running campaigns—never personal identifying information.
Payment Processors (Stripe): We share email, name, and transaction data with Stripe to process earnings and withdrawals. Stripe collects identity-verification (KYC), tax, and banking details directly from you through its own secure forms — Parallelism never receives, stores, or transmits your Social Security number, bank account number, or other raw KYC data. All such information is handled by Stripe under its own privacy and security policies.
Service Providers: We use trusted vendors for hosting, analytics, and infrastructure who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality.
Legal Compliance: We disclose data when required by law or to protect our platform.
No Sales: We never sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Platform Compliance

If you connect external accounts to our platform, we comply with the platform’s Data Policy and Platform Terms. We:

Do not use Idata for targeting or profiling beyond platform operation
Respect the platform’s restrictions on data use and sharing
Allow you to disconnect accounts anytime in Settings

Personal data after deletion: email, name, phone, and address are removed within 30 days of account deletion
Fraud-prevention data (device fingerprints, IP addresses, session logs): retained up to 24 months to detect repeat abuse and protect the platform
Payment & tax records: retained for 7 years or as required by applicable tax and financial laws
Anonymized & aggregated analytics: may be retained indefinitely, as they no longer identify you

When you delete your account, campaign feedback already delivered to companies and records we must keep for legal, accounting, or security purposes will be retained.

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform, keep you logged in, and prevent fraud. We may use analytics tools to understand usage and improve the product. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising or sell data derived from them. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.

9. Children’s Privacy

Parallelism is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data, please contact us.

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using Parallelism, you consent to such transfers. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect data transferred internationally.

With your consent, we may send you emails about your account, updates, and platform news. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails or in Settings. Transactional and account-related messages will still be sent as needed to operate your account.
